Day 149 - Chillen On Halloween

Simply put tonight is chillen in the dark with the Vampire jack-o-lantern --- HAHAHAHAHAAAAAaaaaaa

day 148 - Chillen @ Church

Well there is not much to say about today But I will say this - I got to see an amazing sunrise out bow hunting this morning! I was laying in bad and debated getting up and going hunting or staying in bed. Most mornings not a struggle but today it was a tad - then I thought I want to live everyday to it fullest since having cancer and sleeping has its place but it is not living to the fullest at least today! The filtered through the trees and slowly burnt off the fog and shimmered off the frost that was all over - Smile yep cold but fantastic morning - then running around with the kids, watched some football, making super and off to church :) this is where I did some chillen and worshiping :)

Day 147 - chillen @ Chinese

Well today was a good day over all - I almost shot a buck in the morning then while I was sitting there 10 tom turkeys came walking in on me - I was so TEMPTED to shoot one but no licence for turkey and that pain in the moral consciousnesses kicked in and I just watched them until they were all with in 15 feet then I yelled BOOOOM -- LOL- it was one of the funniest thing I have seen hunting ever- some of the turkey flew off - some ran off - there was feathers and clucking and freaking out turkeys going everywhere LOL -- anyway spent time doing errands in the afternoon then went out again tonight and only saw squirrels (guess I deserved it lol) on the way one home picked up some Chinese food and then we carved pumpkins a pic for later :)_  -

Day 146 - Chillen with Jack-Boy

Tonight I have nothing but chillen in mind - I have my comfy sweat pants on and getting ready to watch the World series game 7 - ( go Cards) -- then off to sleep and a little hunting in the morning then a whole day of NOTHING!!! So I decided to take a chillen pic tonight with you Jack-Boy Halloween guy that has been with us for almost 10yrs --- he is like part of the family in October :) --- So everyone stay chilled :)

Day 145 - Chillen in the Apple Orchard

Today we spent some time as a family doing one of the funnest family thing for late October in MI - We went to the orchard and picked a bushel of apples - We got mostly Red Delicious but threw a few others in as well. It was a nice mid 40 degree day and spotty showers - PERFECT picking day - LOL

So here I am chillen in the orchard :) these are what they call Northern Spy apple trees - I am not sure why but that is the name they were very sour in my opinion - There were Golden Delicious, Ida, Fuji and others I still like the Red delicious the best -

Day 144 - Chillen and First Down

Today I I got to chill the while I did the sideline marker of my sons last football game. I get an up close and personal view of my sons tackles - I also got to try to hold my self back after seeing him drop to the ground after a very hard hit - Tough to watch the him lay there with couches checking him out -- but I held back and waited and he got up and I was all good - OH and so was he LOL

day 143 - chillen with good vibrations

I am three feet from a bass drum tonight at my sons 7th grade band concert I thought cool chillen pick! - it was not bad until the marching band came in and the drummer pushed it less than a foot away and played IT! - I will tell you that sitting that close to a BASS drum give a whole new meaning to GOOD VIBRATIONS LOL --

I also realized that we parents lie so often to our children based on the perception of them doing good - See I was listening to the concert and realized there is no way to pin point your child's playing in a school band but at the end we all say YOU DID SO GOOD! we don't really know if they did or not but we want to believe the flat and sharp notes we hear did not come from our child! I know we can not tell them well you did ok I guess that would be wrong might be true but still wrong -

 I love the fact that my son is playing in band and football makes him well rounded _ or so I think - but the point is we lie or maybe just perceived parent truth I suppose make things sound better -- LOL -- well stay chilled --

Day 142 - Chillen World Series

All I can say is that today I have been busy and problem solving or problem creating LOL
- so it is now 9:15pm and I am finally chillen and watching the world series - Go Cardinals (underdogs can't help myself) --- Stay chilled you all -

Day 141 - Chillen with a ZOMBI (Content Warning)

WARNING - for those out there that think Halloween is EVIL and anyone that claims to have Faith in Christ should RENOUNCE it and hide away with "harvest" parties DO not look below because I am having a good time with my family in a Halloween store and still think we will still get in the pearly gates :) --- For the rest of you enjoy the GORE.... LOL


















 LOL - today we hung out as a family and got the kids costumes at Goodwill (I refuse to pay $$$ for costumes) but we did go to Halloween store for the fun of it - so I am chillen with a Zombi  if only I had a shotgun to shoot it in the head!!!!  LOL --

Day 140 - Chillen with Cat Tower

Today has been an awesome day - I got to spend the morning hunting and almost got a nice 8 point buck - story some other day LOL - Then I did a short work thing - pick up family back out to the contry sight in 22 and clean up the garden spot we had this year then I hunted in the evening did not see anything thanks to neighbor that was out mulching his trees with his mower! Got home and thought I need to chill and while watching the kitties playing on the Cat Tower my wife and I made -- This thing is 6' 1/2" feet tall with like 7 platforms - it weighs around 75 pounds -- The best thing is we got almost all the stuff to make it FREE - little ones cost $100 I can not even guess how much this one would cost - The cats by the way LOVE it!

Day 139 - chillen with last taste of fall

All I can say is I am very thankful that I have the outdoors right now to get away from my day job- I saw this little tree and just had to chill with this last little burst of fall colors -  and I needed to enjoy this moment after today.

Day 138 - Chillen in Clean Garage

Today was a run to point A - stop for an hour - run to point B - stop for an hour - run to point C - stop for an hour - then finish at point D- Get home takes care if a bunch of bills then to work cleaning the garage -- It took an hour but it is clean - not that it looks like it but I can get the car in NOW!  SO after hard work I sat down and did some chillen :)

Day 137 - Chillen in White

Well not much to say about today - had to pay $200 to get the car fixed and still need a $175 repair but that is life... It was a cold rainy day in MI but that is Fall -- Went to  my sons Football game and he did AWESOME sacked the RB three times in a row and forced a turnover on downs inside the red zone :) for you none football reads lets just say he did very good - His team won 8-6 and are 5 wins 0 losses and only one more game to go! - The fun thing is that tonight me and he grandfather got to be the chain measure guys :) that was fun and we got to do it next week - the head guy told us that the last guys said it was embarrassing  job!?!?! It was very cool to be near the field and watch you kid play ball up close SO embarrass me away LOL -- so tonight I am dry and warm in my PJ's all in white chillen :)

Day 136 - chillen in transition

todays chillen time was at the end of the day and I was going from THERAPIST Paul to HUNTER Paul LOL - I had to change my pants and I know no one wants to see that transition but I wore my work shoes out to the car where I put on one boot and looked down and JUST knew this was the chillen moment for the day!  Do not worry no animals were harmed in the making of this picture (darn it)  LOL

Day 135 - chillen @ Meijer in the dark

Today chillen happened here and there and near and far - LOL -- but at the end of the day I had the HONEY PLEASE PICK UP LIST (texted to me of course) SO - I stopped by the Meijer store and got a few things and that ran me $31 - SIGH -- on the way out I thought well why not get a chillen pic - LOL I laid down in front of the car and took the pic - I often wonder what other people might think but then in reality I don't care becuse I am still doing this for me - there are still days that I need to remember life is not about the problems that come at you but how you respond to them inside!!! Stay chilled -

Day 134 chillen - under camo

Today was a wonderful day - I started off bow hunting in the morning and just about had a very nice size deer but like all things one little thing spooked it away before the shot - OH well it was so fun to be less than 30 feet from a deer. It then started raining so off to home I went - just in time to have my wife say lets get to work and finish making the cat tree house - so from 9 am to 2:30 pm that is what we did. Then I ran to make a fresh doughnut run to our local cider mill - then I tried to take a rest while we waited for the smoker to finish the   pork loin that I started at noon - I was going to head off to church then realized that I had promised to take My son duck hunting and I so I eat and we headed off  with hope to make it back prior to church - but did not - My son did get his first duck! SO I think God will forgive us tonight :) So here is the chillen pic under our camo throw cover!  and below you will see the cat tree we built:

Day 133 - Chillen with hand squeezed apple cider

Today we spent the day hanging out with a bunch of new friends from the church we attend - One of the men have a 200 year old hand crank cider press! WE cranked and smashed about 15 bushels of apples and got about 7 gallons of cider out of them. I have to tell you that I learned people 200 years ago had arms made of steel after cranking out cider in that thing -- LOL Well here is the outcome that we got to bring home :)

Day 132 - Chillen @ wife's Art show

It was a good day over all - and tonight finished off with time to chill in down town Flint at the monthly Art walk - This time my wife had several pieces in the show - and in my opinion was by fer the best artist there - (yes I am biased) - We took the kids and one friend of my daughters we call "Bob" I am not sure why but that is what we call her LOL -- so here I am chillen and as always happy to see my wife's art showing to the world - I hope someday she gets to really have full exhibit of her own at a cool gallery - I am sure that will happen!

Day 130 - chillen in the Rain

Today was a busy day but I never miss my sons football games - today in MI it was a nice cool rainy fall day - in other words perfect kids football weather LOL -- so here I am chillen in the rain (my wife is here too but her foot is washed out by the light) watching my sons team going to 4wins 0 loses on the season - OH YEAH---

Day 129 - chillen with late season Fishing

Today I had several appointments that all canceled - SO - me and and My wife got a coffee and went out a baited my bow stand with some apples - then we spent some time building a very cool natural hunting blind.    Then we chilled out and did some chillen on the porch and watched the the leaves fall - then we came home and started building a cat play tower - then off to pick up son and try to shoot a few ducks (which we did not #$$%) but it was fantastic night and after shooting hours I let time try a few cast at the little lake to chill :)

Day 128 - Chillen at the foot of the Rock

Today's pic is at lunch in a nice little park - there were a lot of options for pics but truth be told I was leaning on the car looking at this rock enjoying the beautiful fall day and realized that I was just chillen both mentally and physically so I took the pic :) -- a true just chillen pic :)

Day 127 - Chillen Up with Fall

I know that I have posted a lot of chillen pics this weekend with me hunting but to me in the fall there is little other activities that I can chill doing that makes me SO happy - The thing is it has nothing to do with killing animals it comes with the activity but it has every thing to do with being in the woods during the fall! The smells the chill in the air (expect this last weekend been to hot) the leaves falling and the colors make me smile just sitting there. So here is one more chillen pic with me hunting but a tad different perspective - And no I did not fall out of a tree stand LOL!

Day 126 - Chillen With Tigers!

Today was another AWESOME day in Michigan - Got up and did some errands and other odd and ends - then took my son out to build a deer blind for bow hunting and did some other small game hunting - We found this tiny pond that had DUCKS DUCKS AND MORE DUCKS -- We did not shoot any tonight the season just started today :) ---

So after two days of walking and hiking miles and miles through the woods my feet are very tired and sore and have a few blisters on them pain that came with such good memories worth the ouchies :) SO tonight chillen rooting for the D-town Tigers :)

Day 125 - Chillen with sort if a Bird Dog @ spoils

Today - I have had a FANTASTIC day of chillen - for the most part - After a 3hr drive I was able to get out hunting mid morning(ish) with a couple of Good buddies - We Went deep into the national forest and walked looking for Partridge and Woodcock -- OF which we found plenty and the good news for you non-hunter 99% of them are still in the woods - LOL  - there are a lot of leaves with small holes in them though -- We had a dog with us that was trying to teach it how to hunt then But every time we shot she ran away LOL - after walking in the wood s for nearly 6 hours and shooting about 12 times at birds that flew away I was able to get one -- SO WAS - 3 men, one sort of hunting dog, 6hrs walking in AMAZING fall colors $80 in gas $10 in misc food = 1 partridge worth it 100000000000000000% yes :) have not felt this good in a long long time :)

Day 124 - Chillen @ sunset by water tower

Well today was a half day of meetings and lunch with the boss - then ummm home due to more client cancellations - So I picked up the kids took son to Wal-mart to pick up glasses and contact check - All good - I would recommend that if you live in Fenton area Dr. Ingram is very nice and very good- Which is something that is odd to say about Wal-mart anything -- LOL -- on the way home I drove past this water tower and just knew this was the place to CHILL today so I turned around with the family - parked and walked into the field and took the pic - LOL - I often wonder what the drivers in the cars that go by are thinking LOL -- any way take time to chill and smile every day -

Day 123 - Chillen @ with sunset

Today was another run here wait here do this then run and do that type of day that over all leaves you feeling POINTLESS! However I did get to go and sit on a fantastic fall day that the temp - 72 and watch my Son win his Third in a row football game! 3-0 this one was close but still a WIN! So after that I have an hour before we picked him up and we drove home and got pizza and sat in the school parking lot ate the pizza and watched the sunset on overall a very nice day!

Day 122 - Chillen @ Dr Apt

I have learned to chill in just about any environment and today I was even able to chill while waiting for the Dr. to come in an do an insurance exam/review -- It did not really take long and I see DO instead of an MD I think they tend to think a tiny bit further than what pharmacological drug company tells to to give out (not much but some)

My blood pressure is GOOD and my weight according to their scale WHICH I LOVE said I had lost weight :)  so other than having to set up a CT scan and endoscopy for my 2.5yr cancer check up I really did not have a negative appointment - PS the decor is SO HOMEY don't ya think - LOL

Now the rest of the day was a bust but that is another story for another blog -- Stay chilled

Day 121 Chillen @ Sunset over the marina

Well lets see this morning started at 6:15 am kids up off to school then I am off to work - meeting a 10 lasted till noon - did paper work until 3 on road to appointment canceled - kill an hour doing errand headed to appointment at 4:45 teenage not home family leaving - kill another hour walking aroundWal-Mart playing some shooting game on the Wii and drooling over the IPAD - off to appointment meet with family until 7:30 hit gas station on way home try not to think about how AWESOME it would have been to be bow hunting tonight - see sunset stopped and CHILLED for a few minutes and got the pic by the marina drooled over a few boats :) --- going to bed LOL---

Day 120 - Chillen with WallE

Today was an awesome day! It started off with bacon egg cheese omelets  - then I took my son and daughter small game hunting - then came home had lucnh watched the Cowboys give (sorry but they did)  the Lions their 4th win of the year in the NFL -- while I helped my daughter do a timeline for school on the computer. This part was very cool I sat a looked through 16 yrs of pictures that comprise my life with my family and laughed so hard at the memories that I cried!!  SO with all the things that I did today why chillen pic with wall-E well that movie reminds me of how much we have to lose as people if we do not care for the planet and the world around us - and after the day of family fun and memories I thought how almost - prophetic looking down and seeing Wall-E looking at me :) so chillen with Wall-E fit just right :)

Day 119 - Chillen and Bow Hunting

Today in Mi is the opening day of Bow hunting season - it was a cold rainy day to start with extreme windy it was about 20-30 mph gusty day. Most of the day was spent doing errands and other odd and ends. Then late in the day I got the bug to go out because the rain left and the sun came out! The only bad part was the wind did not let up very much - Well I figured I never really go hunting expecting to get anything so I could not resist just going into the woods anyway -- so here I am chillen with my bow just in case I see something which I did they were standing in the field on the way out in the no hunting zone LOL not that stupid I guess -
