Day 302 - chillen and Easter eggs

Ok so here is a picture of me chillen after putting out 1200 Easter eggs on the lawn - LOL it was very fun time - we had a good turn out of neighborhood kids and parents - Here is the fun part all the neighbors just kept saying thanks for putting it on and letting everyone get together :))) it was very fun and we met several new people - that is what I call relationship building!!!

Day 301 - Chillen and Party Supplies

Tonight I can I just got home from filling 4000 Easter Eggs for the community Easter Egg hunts that our church is sponsoring in two different communities  - Instead of having one large Easter egg hunt we have divided into four small community hunts - we have about 1200 eggs for the our community... MAN I hope we have a good turn out --if we only get 15 kids they will have a LOT of eggs - LOL

Day 300 - Chillen and ears

Well I am sitting here tonight and watching some TV and decided to relax with some Bunny ears - i mean how cool are bunny ears on the feet LOL

Day 299 - Chillen and Light Saber

Ok I am getting down to the last 66 days of my year long journey!!! tonight I found my sons Stars Wars light saber and thought a moment that it was kinda of a silly toy for a 14 yr old - BUT - then I remembered all the adults that go to Star Wars conventions all dressed up like the movie - I hope my son does not do that but if he does - "love him anyway, I will" SW fans will get that last line :)

May your saber always rise to the battle ;)

Day 298 - Chillen with 146 yr old book

I found this book in a lower shelf of a Goodwill and picked it up for only $1.39 -- That is less then a cent a year - How often do you get to see a 146 year old book!!! To hold that kind of history in your hands is kind of inspiring - This is the year the the Civil Right bill passed - the year that root beer was invented - Andre Jackson was president!!! I mean our country was in the aftermath of the Civil War and Freedom and equality was still warring- -- and this book was there in that time -- it just really amazes me to think about that!!

Day 297 - Chillen and Luggage Return

Ok 12 hour day I finally while waiting for my mom to come in from FL and I was reading on my Kindel -- of course there were so many people to watch it did kind of distract me LOL any way stay chilled -

Day 296 - Pillow chillen

Well today is my day off and I only had to work a crisis call for 2.5 hours -- not bad - sigh--- But whne I got home I got to kick back and chill on a pillow so - all is good LOL

Day 295 - Chillen and Lego Troppers

Well tonight we were getting ready to watch a movie and my sons Lego Star Wars Troppers were attacking my chillen feet - Tank goodness the force of my chillen feet repelled them - but is was a horrible way to go - bio-logical warfare is old school but still work LOL

Day 294 - Chillen and Family game night

Well tonight we had a family game night and what better way to have fun as a family then play together - we played and had a lot of laughs -

Day 293 - Chillen and Smoothie

Well Tonight after I made supper I decided I needs a smoothie - Now here is the kicker - These are 100% healthy and good tasting! We use our Kefir   Which is this amazing healthy stuff that my wife discovered that keeps you colon healthy and makes pepto for upset stomach look like water in fast acting effect - ANYWAY My mom in-law gave us a Bullet mixer add some strawberry, honey and Kefir blend for 50 seconds and ENJOY this makes the smoothie places look like sugar vendors LOL - well if you wantt o know more follwo the link or email me here and we will gladly add to out converted Kefir users (we have many now) - I am a believer but after colon cancer I know what it is to need a healthy colon!!!

Day 292 - Chillen and Bass Dreaming

Today I have wanted to go fishing all day - I just could see myself cast and reeling and reeling in fish - I just could see the water and the quietness and for a few minutes today I got to in my Chillen time got to be there at least in my head -- :) Tonight I looked down and saw the bass fishing book I gave to my son and thought well there is a true chillen pic -

Day 291 - Chillen and Kombucha

Don't you just love weird words - I do - Like  Kombucha  I would explain how to say it but I can't I failed that part of English LOL --  Kombucha  is one of those SUPER power good for you drinks that is an acquired taste - done right it is like a strong sour flavored apple cider-- WHY would you drink that? well it has natural properties that help with cell renewal - and for anyone that has had cancer or well ageing issues helping health cells is very important - well here is a link to the Wiki on Kombucha if you are interested -- 

Day 290 - chillen and Thin Mints

Today was one appointment after another and there was little time to chill - So tonight I took time to chill with the some Thin Mints I mean what better way to chill than with Thin Mints all I can say -

Day 289 Dam Chillen

Today I was able to get out fishing with my son - we found a spot near a dam and we caught some nice little bass and my son kept busy catching blue-gills - I took time to do some Dam chillen LOL

Day 288 - Chillen with no way out

Today it was so nice that we had to take a nice walk after supper - we live in a nice subdivision as far as they go but as I was walking home I saw this sign and thought how true it is there is no outlet - getting out of a subdivision is hard  - I have been in some that just seem to go a round and around and I am very thankful for my GPS lol  -

Day 287 - Chillen in the heat

Well today it again was way to hot in Mi - I took this shot on the back porch of my in-laws - Now I don't think it was really near 80 out in this evening but it was near that today so I figured why not - We had tornadoes just south of us yesterday IN MARCH -- I do not know who ordered this heat but it was NOT ME!!

Day 286 - Chillen and Madden 11

Well there is not much that needs to be said if you love V-game football you know the Madden football game - I needed to feel like a winner so I took my team and WON - I know it is kinda sad that I got a good feeling from a V-game but hey you get it where you can find it LOL

Day 285 - Chillen on the Back porch with Buds

I bet some of you thought this was me chillen with some beer LOL -- nope just such a nice night out I am on the back porch looking at the trees I share with the neighbor of course he makes sure I know that I have to mow the grass in the summer but anyway and they are full of Buds only 30 days early -- well think spring lets hold off summer ---

Day 283 - Chillen on Front Porch

Somedays your body wakes up and your brain has not slept and the thought of thinking hurts :) today is or was one of those days-- So tonight I sat on the front porch and watched the sun set over the sub-division ahh the color of red gleaming of bumpers and the reflection of the sun bouncing off roof to roof - there is something magical about a sub-division sunset - Just like the poison apple in the fairy tales - wrong but still magic -- LOL

Day 282 - chillen and early flowers

Well for all you winter hating people out there today's chillen pic should bring you a smile - with teh unnaturally warm weather over the last week has flowers breaking through the ground - Still hoping for a late snow storm but hey that is me ---

Day 281 - Chillen and Frisbee Golf

Today was nothing short of a PERFECT weather day in Mi - it was mid 60's in the sun closer 70 - so we packed up the kids and headed off to the park to fish and play games - We only caught a few tiny fish but we had a lot of sun in outdoors kids playing and me and my son did some impromptu to Frisbee golf WE had a good time then we chilled -

Day 279 Chillen with an Author

OK this was taken on the right day but not posted until 12:06 the next day - For the first time in i don't know how many years we stayed out past MIDNIGHT -- of course we were only talking with our good friends but still counts - LOL -- So today pic is with one Chris Vitarelli  author of the book Strong   check it out on Amazon good book for adults and teens ---

Day 278 - Chillen and Anglo Jesus

I found this old religious book made in the 60's made for a wedding gift to couples - as I leafed through it page after page of Anglo Jewish people including Jesus - I have never quite figured this one out I mean Jesus was a JEW not light skinned, blondish with a halo originating from around his head -- but this has been the image of  Jesus for generations - I have to say Io think it is REALLY messed up -- But I suppose if that is what Jesus is to you then that is what He is but I am thinking that someday assuming that Jesus is who I think he is I hope we don't walk by him in heaven and OOOHHH your Jesus NO WAY!!! LOL

You know somw cartoons just were named for a night of Chillen and Chilly Willy is one of those cartoons :) -- just got to enjoy chillen tonight :)

Day 276 - Chillen in the Warm sun

It is March 6th in Michigan - if you are not familiar with Mi then let me explain in March we are normally looking forward to warmer days coming in April and May and the winter wonderland of snow is still with us. NOT this year it was near 60 degrees today there is only TINY little piles of snow left and I am walking around with out a jacket in my short sleeve polo shirt --- K I will admit it was a WONDROUS day sunny and there was a wind to make it just about the perfect temperature--- but any hotter than 70 is to hot LOL -- So Here is me chillen at the Park in between appointments -- PS I still want more snow LOL

Day 275 - Chillen and My Coach Purses

Not many men will show there collection of coach purses on the internet!!! LOL -- Ok I have to tell the truth I am selling these on Ebay but I could not resist the joke  LOL -- So stay chilled until tomorrow!!

Day 274 - Chiilen at the EXPO

Well every year in our little town they put on a business expo - it has about 200ish businesses there but oddly enough only one church group and that was the little group that I am part of - we had a booth there just making connections with the community - Normally I am not a fan of these things my wife side it well - Why do people come to this it is like walking in to a sea of sales people! I would add more like diving with sharks covered with fish blood LOL -- but it was fun for the hour I manned the booth had a few nice conversations with  some people - SO on the way out I took time to chill in the sea of fresh meat LOL ---

Day 273 - Chillen and movie night GUEST TOO

Today I worked for half a day then went bought a smoker well another smoker because I ran over the power chord for my old one and we found on on Craiglist for $25 so we have a smoker again -- :) -- I decided that tonight was a good night to do a mini-Harry Potter athon - Watched the last two movies - they have their flaws but enjoyable non the less - OH I love the $1.00 rental boxes LOL

OK this is the a special Guest Birthday chillen feet from a fan - YEP a fan I know we both need a life but hey I got a fan LOL --- So happy BD --LV - And good job on painting your 12yrs old sons toes - I think--- LOL

Day 272 - Chillen and Home Brews

Today I did not do to much other than 4 hours of mind numbing paper work - then off to home to finish up the 10lb smoked turkey -- 8 hours of slow smoking with apple chips and spiced water - let me say it was soooo yummy - To top is off the night I had a friends home brewed dark stout they only type of beer I like to drink -- and that is only on occasion -- I do think this home brew was tad stronger than the stuff downtown I was sweating before it was gone  LOL

Day 271 - chillen tired

tonight I just got home and chilled - just been one of them days that you are thankful to be alive and  that the day is over -----  :)
