Day 57 Chillen with a Rescue Kitten

Ok this morning started early about 6:30 am - I got up and sat on the deck and just enjoyed the relative coolness of a summer morning - Then after my family woke up I made a cup of coffee poured in my creamer only to find out that is was spoiled :( -- Well that is ok - I will run off to the local market and get some half & half. (positive or what!)

I get to the store and there is a young girl giving away kittens- I have no intention of getting one but of course I look in and see these 3 TINY IBITY kittens :) of course I touched one and it tried to jump up and grab my hand and said a very tiny MEwww - These are tiny kitties -

I go in and do the shopping come out and they are still there all sleeping - I go home and start breakfast and tell my wife about these little kitties and she says - Are they old enough to give away? I say - ummmmm -- SHE - Look here is a pic of six week kitten (on the computer search) -- I go no way much smaller - SHE - GO get them they are to small we can care for them until they are older then find them homes --

SOOOO - back to the store I go and bring home these 3 little kitties - We think they are only around 4 weeks. SO - Then I have to run to Wal-mart to get Baby Kitty Formula - yep it is real and $10 -- but I go get it and of course the family and friends are all like AWWWWWW they are soooo cute -- (they are but still) --- so later one of the stronger ones come out and explores and thus my chillen pic you see :) -- Until tomorrow stay chilled :)

Day 56 - Chillen @ the Arcade

Saturday in Mi was hot but quite because the kids were with Grand parents :) so me and the wife got up in the morning and headed off to the local dinner for $1.99 breakfast which is 2 eggs, 2 sausages, and toast. Then we hit the road looking for what pig in toy story said "EBAY Fodder" Over the last month we have started tyring to make money on EBay - so far we have made about $75.00 profit and have been on a learning curve but money is money! We got some good deals and I hope to make even more with over the next month!

Then we ran around and did some errands until later in the day when we met up with the kids and G-parents at the beach. We sat there until super time and headed over to the Fenton house to split a family meal. This is where I had to take time to CHILL - I love playing at the arcade - I know we have the Wii and there are such cool game systems you can play at home but Pin-Ball on the Wii just is not the same LOL --

The lights and the sounds are just so much more fun than a TV screen. Let not forget the joy of beating complete strangers high scores :)

Day 55 - Chillen with a DREAM

Well today I had meetings and got to listen to blah blah blah -- then I was off to see a couple of clients then HOME for the WEEKEND wooowooo -- anyway got home and the kids headed off to movies and an over night with the grand parents :) soo I said to my lovely wife LETS go out for dinner -- I had to fight and drag her to go but I FIIIANNLLLYY won (LOL) and off we went to Lucky's Stake House - Now here is a place that you can have a GOOD steak and for two people you can split them they are SO big -- for $21.00 we got a 28oz Porter House med-well with a large salad and a side add one side drink water and you have nice dinner out for 2 for only $25.00 and tip!

Then she talked me into going to the pet store just to "look" at the fish and of course you know they are on sale for half off which means you buy twice as many and spend just as much - so $20 later the cashier says - You saved 19.98 today -- NO I DID NOT I spent $20 bucks --- sigh but it make my wife happy and so Mama's happy so is the world :) (PS I like to spoil her if I can - good thing I am not rich)

On the way home I spot the perfect chillen pic - I love RAM trucks and I would really love to have one but seeing as they cost around $20,000 not going to happen any time soon :( -- but full of stake and with a happy wife I stop in front of this dealer ship get out and CHILL in front of one of my dreams :)

LOL - my wife is shaking her head and says "you must get a small thrill out of doing these pics" I say "well there is kind of a fun rebel feel to getting your feet in position and taking a pic" LOL

CHILLEN FEET - SHOULD REPLACE PLANKING AND OWLING -- LOL

Day 54 - Chillen Tires

On my travels around the Genessee County working with troubled families I have had to find relatively safe places to wait and work between clients - One of the spots I have found has this once very nice wooden play area for kids. I had to kill some time and I took a short walk around this play area and what I found was a obviously less than a 100% safe play area that has fallen pray to budget cuts :( -- but none the less I did find a Chillen Spot -- so here is to chillen with an old tire bridge :)

The good thing is when I drive by this park and their are kids there they still seem to be able to smile and find this bridge to a magic transportation to FUN:)

Day 53 - Chillen with Water Tower

Today I was out running around and working with troubled families and I saw a little park near a water tower and I needed to kill 15 min between appointment SOOO I obviously I could not resist to do some chillen :) -- The park was less than impressive in fact I would say it was run down -- but the benches were nice and so I chilled and pic'ed LOL -- FACT that have no purpose - the water tower was built in 1980's and it holds 400,000 gallons of water :)

Day 52 - Chillen with a memory

Today my wife and I spent a few hours this evening cleaning our bedroom !!! if you are anything like us your room is the last place you spend a lot of cleaning efforts LOL -- We deal with all the rest of the house first then our room about once every few weeks :)) After we were done I was chillen on the bed and looked up on the wall and saw one of my prize possessions :) so i dediede to chill with it. My wife and I have had a lot of broke anniversaries but with her amazing talents she made this sign for me! it is a writing of OUR song :) Listed below is the words of our song :)

Day 51/365 Chillen 13th hole with Son

Day 51 - I worked from home today - I got to complete several online training courses and worked on a personal project that I have been trying to work on for some time. Then I got to take my son to his first day of golf league - he did very well and it was a very nice day so we got to hang out for 3 hours -- :) We took time to chill out on the 13th hole :))))

Day 50/365 - Chillen with My mommy

Today we travled 150 miles north to pick up my kiddos that have been with my mom for the last two weeks - We got there had some lunch then went down to the lake to do some fishing- But I had time to relax and do some chillen with my MOM :) -- you just can't go wrong chillen with your MOM ---

DAY 49 - Chillen with Daises

Well to day has been a working Saturday - My children have been at their Grand-mothers for the last two weeks and in that time we have been able to rest and recover from parenthood - WELL - My wife has anyways I have been working with kids every day so I still get the experience on a daily bases LOL - But I Have been resting too but I am ready for my kids to be HOME I miss them :( -

ANYWAY... we had to gut repair and paint my daughters room and we had two weeks but being good Americans we waited until the last day LOL -- that took 1/2 a day then I spent 3 hours loading Ebay Auctions up - we are trying to develop a side stream of income to pay off student loans or electric bill which ever come first LOL -- (if your interested look up Ebay seller - april-may-june)

I took time to goout back and check my newest purchase - and that is where I did some Chillen -

I love Daises - that are such a simple flower yet they are very beautiful. They are a hardy flower too that may die off but they will come back again and again - They don't smell like the rose, they don't have fame like the lilies - BUT everyone knows what they are when they see them and not many people I have heard of dislike daises - Simple and non-assuming - I would like to live my life like a daisy:)

day 48/365 Chillen @ Grillen

ALLLRIGHTTTTT --- today the nasty ole heat came down to just plain hot which is SO much better than the hell level temps that have been around all this week and the frying your eggs in the sidewalk temps of yesterday :)))

Today my agency held a family based picnic in a very nice park so the families we work with canhave a fun social gathering - it was a very good success! we have about 50 people some and we had face painting, and games and pizza for the families -- it is nice to see people that life has pushed around just sit back and smile not to mention see the KIDS have fun :)

Tonight my wife and I are just chillen around the house and like everyday supper time comes around and at least three nights a week we do the supper time verbal dance -- what do you want? I don't know - What do you want? I don't know -- like 1-2-3-4 and dip 1-2-3-4 and dip LOL -- tonight though we had decided BBQ YAYAYAYA :) so here is my pic - Chillen @ Grillen LOL -

Day 47/365 - Chillen out of heat

Today my blog has two photos to tell the story of my chillen Feet--

I lived in 1/2 down the coast of Florida for 5 years there July is normally 100 degrees F - but I left there in part because of the high temps - So now I live in the lower half of Michigan which is 1500+ miles north of Florida and July here is normally around high of 83 degrees -- but in photo number one you will see that it is not 80's ---

This thermometer is in the shade the one out back in the sun is at buried at 120+ sooooo with this in mind my chillen photo is on my couch, in my living room, in the AIR conditioning, with a fan blowing on me - This pic is just a minute or two after i woke up from a DEEP chillen hour NAP --- :) now let me tell you today I reallllllyyyyy chilled out of the heat :)

Day 46/365 Chillen and a Bell

Well today was not a bad day just as hot as H*** --- in MI 95 degrees is 100% evil and convinces me even more that is there is 1 in a billion chance that Hell is real and that it is hot than I will do what ever GOD want me to do so I will not have to go there LOL -- anyway today pic is kinda a history lesson -

The bell in the pciture hung in a local church from 1861 - 1971 - 11o yrs for those not good with math (wife-LOL) I see this bell often as I drive through the tiny town I live in and is just sets day after day through all the seasons just chillen - I could not help but think about all the times over the bells life it was put into action calling people to church, town meetings, and fire alerts - this bell is a symbol of our history strong unyelding yet functional and with a purpose - now it has been replaced with a digital music bell(ish) thing that rings once in awhile -

I have heard bells like this one ring they have a very powerful sound that you hear and respond to even if that is to just look in the direction of the sound you respond. (Not so much with the digital thing)

So To this bell I am glad to have you as part of my chillen blog - you have earned the rest but I would love to hear your strong gong again some day!

Day 45/365 Chillen with Family

Well today was a hard day working with troubled families :( children in trouble - family's hurting and no answers for people that work fast.... it was a hard day -- So I was very geateful that my In-Laws came over to do some chillen --- we talked and had ice cream and then Wii bowled :)) thatis a good way to end a BAD day --

Day 44/365 - Chillen @ New Harry Potter

Well this morning found me and my feet working via telecommuting -- I sat on our new to us couch and completed 6 required online training's - My mind was a little more warped that normal by the time I got that completed :) -- So I got done in time to to take my wonderful wife to see the late matinee showing of Harry Potter deathly Hallows part II -

It was a very good movie - excellent graphics and the story line was very close to the book -- they made the last of the series very enjoyable to watch! I have to say after all the years and that fact that this series is the only movie my wife and I went to see - that this last one was a tad sad for me..

The "dates" with my wife for these movies have been wonderful memories and I looked forward to them BUT now HP is done I don't know what we will do - She does not like other movies soooo.. I guess our "movie dates" are all done too.... what to do what to do ----- Well ---- I guess I will have to take my kids to see movies and leave her home alone LOLLOLOLOL --

Day 43/365 chillen @ Borders Book's

Today in Mi it has been SOOO hot that the northern plants are all begging for fall to get relief from this heat.. Or maybe it is just me that is begging for this #$#% heat to go back to the south where the heat lovers are LOL

So what to do on a hot day???? simple 1:stay inside house with air on or 2: go to stores with air conditioning so we did both LOL -- and we decided to go to Borders to enjoy the book store before they close for good. So my Chillen Pic is where I was chillen in the non-fiction world information - right in front of my feet is a book on Scotland :) It was a literary chillen day :)

Day 42 - chillen after long hard day :)

Today we hit the ground running - we hit a bunch of yardsales so we could sell stuff on Ebay - then

I lost my cell phone so we had to REVISIT all the sales we went to. WE found it at sale #3 and it was on the ground by the road side and it had been hit by a car -- BUT -- it still worked - NO I don't know how that happened but it DOES!

Then we ran to a friends for an open house and then home to move old living room furniture out and NEW TO US stuff in - but of course that mean a full redesign of the living room PANT PANT PANT -- so my chillen pic is very simple end of the day chillen -- :) so I am chillen and wathing the next to last Harry Potter movie -- till tomorrow stay chilled :)

Day 41/365 Chillen @ Mancino's

Ok -- today was another day of listening to talking heads -- They are good information but it all blended into one sound today - SO -- I called my wife and said you know what I think getting a pizza tonight just sounded good. So we loaded up and ran down to this restaurant called Mancino's and for those that may not have one of these in there area I feel sorry for you. This place make amazing pizzas and my personal favorite SUB - the Italian - toasted and just so yummmy!

This Mancino's is owned by some really cool people Mark and Sally - Mark is a cancer Winner too - ( I refuse to say fighting) - think of him in a thought or prayer as well -- :)

One more thing - I have taken chillen to the next level of not being ashamedI amwilling to get my chillen pic any way any how even if I look odd to the world around me LOL - YES I will express my chillen even at the expense of my dignity! Well it is a blog about chillen that main star is feet soooo I guess that is obvious LOL --- Well until tomorrow Stay chilled :)

Day 40/365 Chillen with Harry Potter

Well here it is today - DAY 40 -- for the past 4 nights my wife and I have been on a Harry Potter-athon leading up number 5 tomorrow night then my wife and I have our date night on Monday to see the final movie of the Harry Potter series - Now I know that some of my friends are like NOT HP it all about magic and witches and stuff -- but to them I say - RELAX - I find these movies FUN and we have had one movie date night with everyone since the Chamber of Secrets.

Now I have offered to take my wife on other movie nights but she does not like movies for the most part but she enjoys these movies so I take advantage of this and enjoy it with her :) So tonight I sit here chillen with Harry Potter and my wife of course LOL

Day 39/365 Chillen @ Training

Once more this week my feet and I got to sit all day and listen to talking heads at a training. Now I am not saying the heads did not have good things to say just to often the talking heads do not connect what they are sharing to REAL hard core work--- They teach theory and research that is going one or has been done which is interesting but fail to get it down to real world implementation. So in the afternoon session I decided to talk a little walk and do some Chillen in the lobby where they had comfy chairs :) --

I could not think of a better time to take my daily pic then when I was doing some semi-sneaky Chillen LOL -- Till tomorrow remember to take time to chill today :)

Day 38/365 Chillen with Mexican Food

Ole`- Today my feet and i sat in training from 9am until 4pm about working with ADHD but a Nuro-Psychiatrist! he was a good spaeker but after 5 hours of large PhD words I was ready to do anything like -- mow my lawn (PS I hate doing that)... Then - as all jobs have some odd thing that is life and death to someone in the company and if you do not do this "thing" by a certain time some horrible life altering "thing" will happen - I had to drive home 40 mile and then drive to the office another 16miles to do this LIFE ALTERING thing that took 2 minutes!!! Well at least when the world ends @ 5pm Tomorrow night I will know that I did not cause it!

So My wife and I did this THING and then we headed into Fenton MI- to split what is a contender for the single largest burrito in MI -- it is about the size of a FOOTBALL all covered in cheese :)))) and ifyou drink water you can eat for two for only $12.00 including tip! If you get to Fenton MI - which is right off I75 north head over to Sagebrush - well worth the stop!

Now I should not say this (cause I have non drinking friends) but if you like Long Island Ice Teas (which I really DO -sorry friends) they have a 22oz one there that is AWESOME-- though remember do not drink and drive - BUT it is AWESOME -- (it is about as much as the burrito but WORTH IT :)))) ok moving on :)

Ok here is the Pic - FYI - the people on the outdoor patio were going WHAT THE @#$#% is that guy doing - To them I would say -- just chillen people just chillen :)

Day 37/365 Chillen with Ice Cream

Day 37 found my feet and had to hit the ground running to help troubles families - Today found us caught between what is expected - what was suggested and what is moral - I have never found all three ethical conflicts at once! -- In the end I went through with the moral thing! So I am pleased with the end feeling but will the end results be the best result-- only time will tell! Tonight I could not think of any better way to chill than with a fantastic large BOWL of Ice Cream - the ultimate comfort food :)

Day 36/365 -- Chillen wiih Cat In-Law

Ok my kids are away andwe wnet over to my in laws house for supper - and we played the Wii and had a few drinks -- so I was extra chilled (NO I was not BUZZED OR DRUNK) But the cat was looking at me as I was chillen on the couch so he joined my perade of chillen pics. :) till tomorrow :)

Day 35/365 Chillen on the Dock

Today chillen pic is a time warp for me - I took my kids to visit my mom for a few weeks in my -- well fo lack of better term "home" town of Cadillac MI. I do not really call it my home town cause I lived so many places in my life. I was born there and did graduate high school there but for the most part I still consider it just a town I lived in. None the less I do have a lot of good memories around the lake that is in the town - I fished this lake EVERYDAY I could as a kid and I stayed out of a lot of trouble by hanging around the dock and the lake in town fishing -

So for a blast from my past I had to do some Chillen at one of favorite fishing spots as a teen - Plus as a teen boy - when the boats pulled up to the dock I got to see the cute girls in the swim suits ;) i was not a stupid teenager just kinda socially inept LOL -- Enjoy the Chillen and see you tomorrow :)

Day 34 - Chillen in a booth

OK - today chillen was not easy -- it was one of those days that you just want to crawl back into bed and NOT get up for a few days. Nothing was easy today --- BUT I will not give up chilling!!! So today my feet and I had time to set back in a booth at a restaurant that I was having a drink with a client at - The client decided to run to the bathroom so I just took that time to kick back and chill :) -- it did not last long but for that few minutes I was sitting in a bass boat fishing on a quite lake at sunset... I tell you it really did help me finish the session and the day :) Chillen really works!

Day 33/365 - Chillen with the fish

Day 33 - chillen with fish - Today my feet and I sat ALLLLL DAYYYY in training - so we sat and sat and sat and sat --- in dress shoes and we sat and sat and sat - SO chillen was not needed as much at the end of the day but MY FANS :) I will FORCE MYSELF to CHILL LOL --- and today I thought why not chill with the fishes!! Not the same thing as sleeping with the fishes thank goodness!!! LOL to you see me chillen tomorrow -- STAY CHILLED :)

Day 32/365 - Chillen @ work ;)

Ok -- Here is MY NEW answer to WHY am I doing this Feet thing? = It started as a joke but now i have to say it has grown to mean something more - I have come to see this as a bold lifestyle statement!

That is right a statement - that says - I understand in this world of rush rush hurry hurry I can take a breath each day and realize that I need to take a breath and chill out - just STOP moving and let the body take a short break!

So for the rest of this year journey I will be living a lifestyle that at some point some where everyday I will be doing just that and I will share it with anyone that will look! Take time to chill for a few minutes everyday you deserve it no matter how important or pressured you are you can reclaim a few minutes of your life by just chillen!

Today my feet and I hit the ground running @ 9am and had training all afternoon but today I took my chillen time right at work before my training :) -- It feels good to realize that no life can be paused for a minute or two ANYPLACE where and when you can...:)

Day 31/365 - Chillen with my Bird

Well my feet and I have moved on to the second month of Chillen feet -

today my feet and I have wondered over 100 miles today working with troubled kids and families - and we walked in neighborhoods, stores and even had to go bowling with these families.. It was not a bad day in fact over all it was fun but tiring --- So tonight I thought I would just chill out and my parrot started calling out for special Paul time :) so I could not pass up the opportunity to share my chillen time with my Little Emerald -

I bought Emerald in 2002 - I should say that he sucked me into bringing him home - I walked in the pet store and he came right up to the edge of his cage and squeaked at me - he put his head on the bars and let me to rub his head. No matter where I went he climbed all over his cage and followed me chirping - I left him there but what I did not know is that he has put a charm on me that I could not stop thinking about this little green bird - I was talking about him and my wife was like YOU wnat to buy it -- I think he put a bird spell on me LOL -- So I went to the store and spent WAY to much on a bird but his now part of the family for going on 10 years.

No he is part of the Chillen history :)

Day 30/365 Chillen with Freedom

Day 29/365 - Chillen @ the Beach

Sunday my feet and I took some chillen to the next level - I took the kids to beach and let them swim - while my feet and I sat and in a soft fold out chair and kicked back watching people and reading a book. I am not a sun worshiper nor a swimmer so I sat up in the shade and just Chilled!

It is a quite a nice way to chill out --- :)

Day 28 - Chllen @ the Bottom

Well - My feet and I love to chill this weekend - My daughter and I spent the morning out shopping leaving my wife and son that are the shopping party poopers at home LOL--- we looked at things and messed around in some stores and even bought a few clothes :) Then My feet and I have CHILLED ALL DAY!!! so when looking for a chillen pic today I thought maybe my feet would like a different view of the stairs - life is to short to always look at things the same way -- looking up the stairs reminds me that to get to the top you have to start at the bottom sometimes by choice and sometimes by lifes choice but the only way to achieve is one step at a time :) (yes my mind if dangerous when allowed to chill all day LOL )

Day 27 - Chillen @ PetsMart

Well as we kicked off this 4th of July holiday Weekend my feet and I had to take my wife to get MORE FISH :) --- She has started a 30 gal fish tank again rasing Cichlids you can see the type of fish by following the link. She was very excited to buy some more now she has 5 on her way to 15 I think --- this is her hobby :) - I do enjoy watching them but glad not to have to do any work with them LOL -- So we went to PetsMart and she got her little fishes :) -- I could not pass up a chance to kick back and do some CHILLEN - I waited in car with air running so our food would not spoil so I kicked open the door and chilled for the above pic :)
