Day 241 - chillen and Valentines

Today was 55 degrees out  in N. Michigan - All I can say is THIS IS WRONG --- but I guess it is what it is but it is still to hot - Tonight am sitting next to my 5th grader and she is prepping her Valentines for her party NEXT month LOL - she is a tad excited!! I thought the monkey tatto Valentines were to fun to pass up chilling with --

Day 240 - Chillen and Potatoes

Today I sat and did paper work for most of the day then met with a couple of clients - then home to make PIZZA - Well sort of - we bought the base Take and Bake base from the Local store and then added sausage (Jimmy Deans Precooked links chopped) Canadian bacon (ham but bacon for my son to eat it)  - Baby Portabla mushrooms chopped and extra cheese - All for about $20 which was about the same a buying it but tasted better - NEXT time 100% homemade - YEAH prob not LOL -- To the chillen Pic - to be honest with you this one was OMG I let life slap me today with business and I need a chillen pic - SO - I walked around the house and thought whaat can a I chill with tonight :) - OF course I found a bad of Russet Potatoes and I thought you know I like Potatoes - baked, fried, mashed, scalloped, twice baked, just about any way so I thought I will chill with this versatile and wonderful food because it just make me happy!!! 

 

Day 239 - Chillen @ Baptism

Today I went to a friends church in Howell MI called Fatih Journey - It is a very nice group of people so if you are looking for a church they meet in the Movie Theater downtown - at 10 am -- on Sundays -- Today after the service a couple of young men got baptized so I could not help but take time to chill pool side as they followed through with there symbolic act on their faith.

Day 238 - Chillen and Sports Illustrated

Well today was just a wonderful nondescript day! One of my mottos in life is everyday that is a nice NORMAL day with nothing falling on the extreme sides is a WONDERFUL day - Now I know that many people say You should want GOOD things or Fantastic things that makes a Good day - I counter with this thought - When you have had just short of the worst days (death news) with news that you have cancer you find that when you have NO NEWS it is GOOD NEWS --- or just a wonderful nondescript day... Tonight I was reading the SI SuperBowl preview and it is fun but just people babbling about their thoughts on the game  - kind of what I do here I suppose - Game is a week away and I will be having a good time watching it as long as this week provides me with 6  wonderful nondescript days!

Day 237 - Chillen with January Mud

This time of year in MI is supposed to be COLD and frozen - We are supposed to have snow on the ground and be able to go out ice fishing and snow-shoeing or skiing - ANY of the winter sports --- BUT NOT THIS YEAR --- we get a little snow then the temp shoots up and melts and leaves us mud covered -- very cruel to a Winter outdoors guy :( NEVER the less I will chill in the Mud :)

 

Day 236 - chillen chores

Today I left at 930 am got home at 630 pm - Wife is sick SO -- I had to make supper, do some laundry, and then the dishes - Well you know life is not always OR never really was a Fathers Knows Best life - Truth be known I would no not want that kind of life where the wife is the slave -- I like to help around the house - yeah I am odd ---

Day 235 - Chiilen FINALLY

Ok this is a picture of me chillen with my work latptop -- thing about my work there is 1 hour of paper work for every 30 minutes of therapy session ---  then add on top of that all the reprots and that time cards and the.... well you get the idea the digitial paper trail is a good thing for the TREES - if  this was all written I would kill at least 6 trees a week  -- so now I am just chillen after a full day of clients and hour of friends then a nice 2 hours typing work -- CHILLEN IS A GOOOOOD thing keeps all this stuff in perspective - I am here to work and I don't have cancer -- I cahill after work OH YEAH!!!

Day 234 - Chill and Taxes -

Ok I know can one really chill when they are doing taxes?? Well I can I never make enough to end up paying so I usually get a return so tax season never upset me - OH to have the problem of making so much I have to pay taxes... but not in the cards yet -- so YEAH I can chill and maybe get a few bills paid off :))) If you have never used Turbo tax I highly recommend it - I have used them for many years with no problems at all :)))

Day 233 - chillen at Dr's office

Well I gave in today and went to the doctors - I am not a big doctor fan after the cancer misdiagnsoed 3 yrs ago and seeing that most of my childhood I spent being poked and proded by doctors with no real good outcome-- but I had to get something for this ear pain and eye issue - I did got there and she talked to me looked and wrote two scripts that only cost me$ but if I had not had insurance for 20 drops for the eye and 6 pills would have cost $78 just not right ---- anyway while I waited I just chilled ---

Day 232 - Chillen and Playoffs

Well not much to say today I am still trying to stop being sick - not much luck there yet - but at least today there was NFL championship games - none of my teams were in this year so I did not really care I was rooting for the Pats - but they won and it was a good game - and now the NYG sand 49ers is a good game so at least I have have it to chill with --

Day 231 - chillen with Indy Hat

Well I am still trying to shake off this cold thing - I have not been able to do this yet so I have been watching a lot Netflix  - tonight as I was doing that looked down a saw my sons Indy Jones hat - and thought I can chill with that seeing as I loved those movies :)

Day 230 - chillen and 7up

I do not drink a lot of soda any longer but when I have a sore thorat I like a bottle of 7up - So tonight I just chilled with my bottle --

Day 229 - chillen and popcorn

Still sick today but kids wanted some popcorn and I got them some and then a movie - to recover with - I wish I could have tasted it LOL

Day 228 - chilen sicky --

Today I played couch jockey trying to shale a stuffed up head and sore throat - so my chillen pic is showing exactly what I was doing - chilling and watching TC and the fish -- be chilled --

Day 227 - chillen and sinuses

Today I worked and got through with a fully stuffed sinuses -- so I got home and am now resting with a sinuses best friend - puffs --- LOL stay chilled all --

Day 226 - Chillen in Tire Shop

Last night my sinuses decided they wanted to keep me up most of the night and that was less then chillen - I got up this morning on my day off and got a emergency call form a client and had to work for a few hours which was not all that fun but it part of my job - Of course yesterday my front tire BLEW out i mean BOOM and car dropping down and everything! Well I was blessed by the service department at  Lasco Ford in Fenton. They pulled me in their service bay put the back on the front and the spare on the back all for FREE! I can not say if they are good shop or not but they did this REALLY NICE thing for me! SO THANKS!!! However today I had to go get tires and seeing as my other front one was not good either - I had to get two tires :( called all around and found at Shelton Tire in flint 2 brand new Hankook  for $125 each plus putting them on out the door almost $300 SIGH --- but now I have good tires -

 I was even able to chill and read my Kindle while I waited - in the last four months I have had put in over $1500 in to my car - but at least I have been blessed to have just enough money when I needed it - well rob peter to pay paul money but it has been there :)

Day 225 - Chillen and Swedish Fish L Jelly Bellys

Well today was a hard day - I got up early oh around 9-ish - then made had some breakfast - then well took a nap then ummm oh yeah watched Playoffs in my comfy pants -- Then we got ready for church group then we watched some Muppets WOW tough day LOL -- I chilled with some of my favorite candies - Some Swedish Fish and Hot Cinnamon Jelly Bellys :)))

 

Day 224 - chillen with Winter Fun

It was a fun day! We got up this morning and texted our friends and packed up the kids to go sledding - we got about 3 inches of snow - FINALLY ! We got to the hill near the beach in our Town for about an hour of sledding to honest with you sledding is not my favorite winter activity fun going down but walking up not my thing LOL -  But as you can see in the picture I got on the sled with my daughter and chilled on the way down the hill ONCE then I took a bunch of pictures LOL -- 

Day 223 - Chillen and ice cream

Well today was a day that I was able to half a day off to nurse a cold and recover from a long week of pushing through it - we watched a few movies and then had a good bowl of ice cream what bette why to chill than with Ice cream :)

Day 222 - Chillen and game night

Tonight our family played a board game call imaginif - in this game you get to chose what a person may be like what type of car or house or song etc.. I must say when you shut off video games families can actually play and laugh together!! That is a good night even if I have a head cold.

Day 221 - Chillen and 55 gallon FISH

Well it was a good day working but when you are trying not to let a head cold mess with your head while you are trying to mess with your other peoples head things are not always not that easy... SO tonight I bought some chicken from Wal-Mart it was edable but barily lol -  then a couple hours of work on online paper work then took time to sit and chill or better stare at the fish tank and try to drift away from the day :) --- Happy Chillen

Day 220 - Chillen with a UFO sighting!

I was sitting my house just watching the fish tank and out of no where came these flashing lights -- I grabbed my camera and snapped a picture and sure enough I got proof that there was a UFO in MY HOUSE hovering over my wife's fish tank - We think they are trying to search for intelligent life but that goes to show how dumb aliens are they are cats are much smarter than the fish!!!

Day 219 - chillen in PJ's

It has been one of those long working days - left at 8:30 got home a 5:30 0 worked on projects around the house finish up note online for work then list EBAY and Craiglist selling things - cook supper and fold a basket of clothes now for a late evening meeting vai internet - WHEW -- I had to take a minute to chill in my PJ's in between the jobs --- I am so glad I started this Journey of chillen feet - I needed to take a rest and this was a good point to do it -- well back to work LOL --- Stay chilled -

Day 218 - Chillen with Antenna

We do not have cable or dish in our home - I know some of you are OMG how do you live with out that!!! Well it is not as hard as you think - We do not dedicate hours of or life to pointless plots lines that are mostly filled with sex and violence while in between you are brain washed by companies that are only trying to strip the money out of your wallet with out giving any care about what their products do to you or the world we live in! ANYWAY - I do occasionally like to watch football (when ever it is on actually) and we like to watch one TV show BONES on Fox - So with the new digital age we had to have a digital antenna to get the air channels - I bought one for $40 and it sucked got three - I bought one at Goodwill and it worked ok if you moved it for each channel - SO I went on youtube found a video of how to make a home made one! COOL!! in the picture today is the outcome of this building! YES it works better than the ones that I bought -- no it is not pretty but it works and it only cost $4.00 :))) American REDNECK ingenuity it works -- lol and it hides well behind the TV...

Day 217 - Chillen and Chillen

Today is a simple chillen day -  I chilled all floppy in my sweats and just watched some football and snacked on oranges then supper then Chips and dip with Vernors -- now just chillen and food processing LOL -- GOOD DAY :)

Day 216 - chilllen with 3 smoking Chicks

It is still officially day 216 - I have not been out this late at a friends house for a long time - but it was a blast! -- We took over 3 smoked chickens hehe see 3 smoking chicks  and they were smoking fresh off the smoker LOL --- anyway it was fun but ready for bed until tomorrow :)

Day 215 - Chillen with the future

I love my new TOY!! I love to read which by the way is not something I did at ALL until I got married and my wife slowly introduced me to novels. Growing up I saw my parents read one book the Bible and ONLY the Bible. I remember reading a few books as kids but I was never taught how to enjoy a book - to slowly let the words create a play in your mind --- My wife encouraged me to TRY - I avoided it mainly because I was a slow reader, I had a big vocab range but slow reader - Once I tried it I was hooked - Now 16+ years later I can out read my wife by almost double when just sitting and reading - I love to devour books -

 Once they started coming out with digital books I was LIKE OH YEAH!!! my wife LIKE OH NOOO - I understand her reason a old book or page on a book has it's appeal and enjoyment - There is a scene (paraphrased best of my memory sorry Trekkies ) in Star Trek the Next Generation where the captain Picard is reading a book when the Data walks in and needs him - he puts the book under a protective glass and Data asks "why not just read it on the screen?" Captain - "There is something about the feel and smell of a real book Data that just makes it more real." --

I knew then and even more so now books, papers, and magazines that are printed in paper are only a few years from extinction - sad on may accounts but understandable on many other accounts - Well I love mine and will continue to buy and I am even working on writing a E-Book - Let the future be now (Engage) - Trekkie reference :)

Day 214 - Chillen and a Chopper

Well another day of back to back to back clients with issues and concerns - but over all a good day - Got home in time to see my daughter flying her toy helicopter like a pro - I tried and all I got was  spinning out of control mess - THIS IS A BIG BLOW - I am now past the age of new TOY's NOOOOOO - I will master this and try to keep up with all the new gadgets I WILL I WILL I WILL --- well at least I will try but it will sooner or later sink in that I am the old version of the techno geek - I learn faster then others my age but still process at 1/3 the speed of a 10yr old modern child in technology SIGHHHHHhhhh - I will come ot term with my out dating -- SOMEDAY for now I will fly and crash this stupid toy until I get it LOLOLOLLLL

Day 213 - Chillen with Birthday feet

Well it was back to work today and it was well - work - not bad not good just another day in chaos that is my career :) I got done early tonight because it was my BEST friend, life partner and my far better half's birthday _ I have been blessed enough to spend the last 17 of her Birthdays with her and hope for at least 30 more :) -- So here we are after dinner just chillen together :)  I encourage you to take time to tell your life partner that you love them for now is what we have tomorrow is very uncertain at best...

Day 212 chillen with the Muppet's

Today is the last day of vacation - That means the real world and all the stress and problems come flooding back in tomorrow - sigh - but today I decided to hold that door closed for one more day - In the AM I helped my 10 yr old girl dig down to her floor in her bedroom to clean it up - then we had some lunch and headed off with the kids to the $5 matinee at the movies - We watched the Muppet's I love these silly liittle things they make me laugh and that is according to the movie the 3rd best thing in the world right behind babies and Ice cream :) --  The movie started VERRRRRRRYYYY SLOOOOOWWWW I was like OH NO the screwed up the Muppet's but then about 15mins in they started to be the good fun laugh inducing Muppet's that we all love!!! We came home and my 14yr son grabbed his Muppet DVD set and we watched another 2 hrs of fun!! Well after chillen for days it is time to rejoin the rest of the rats and chase the cheese again --- As Fozzy would say - I just can't Bear it - waka waka :)))

Day 211 - Chillen and a warm comfy

Today was the first day of the New year - we did absolutely nothing - I spent the whole day in my comfy sweat pants!!! I watched some family shows then the kids played some games then I watched football! Well I did one thing I smoked a flat of RIBS :) Just can not beat slow smoked ribs - Now just waiting for the final touches of supper to be added by my wife - I sat down and threw on one of her home made quilted afghans - I am so spoiled  - she is smart, cute, good cook, artistic, and all the good homey things a guy could want in his best friend! -- yep I am spoiled and LOVE IT!!!
