Day 332 - chillen and Cash Cow

Tonight I needed to have a chillen pic but truth be told I have not had a very chilled out day - my anxiety has been rather hi and this week or I should say going to be for the month it is not going to be easy to month to chill - I have a 3yr CT scan this week to see -- no PROVE - that I am still cancer free! (positive thoughts!) of course no results until around the 21st....

So tonight I looked about an thought what can I share chill with the will at least bring a smile to me and maybe to you - Then I saw it the CASH COW!!! This little cow jar thing has become the location for our loose change and a few bills here and there - I like our Cash Cow it add more flare to life then a change bottle -- well here is to chillen or at least tying for the rest of the month!!!

Day 331 - Chillen and Baskets

You know there are men out there that say laundry is a woman's job - When I was a boy that is what I was taught the wife/mom does it all wash, cook, clean do it all --- Well I have to tell you that is not a very sensible way of living guys! -- You wear the clothes you dirty them why not help wash, dry and fold them? -- See I really think that if men would understand that sharing household chores was not only helpful, and loving but it makes everything in a relationship better -- meaning of course if your lady feels appreciated she will feel more relaxed and ummmm loving -- so here is to chillen with empty baskets that I folded and put away --- all around good thing :)

Day 330 - chillen and Naked House

TOdays chillen pic really is not that chillen to start but it is  as the picture shows - We had a carpet cleaner come in and clean the house carpets - they were dirty after renting for more than 2yrs - Now I suppse the landlord should have had it done or offered to split the cost but we are the type of renters that think since we live at the house we want to keep it up so sometime the Landlord gets off a little easy... Oh well good seed, karma, or deeds come back to you right? well here is the house Stipped naked wet and clean --LOL

day 329 - chillen and Notre Dame

well not to much to report today but I am sitting at the computer and completely doing nothing -- so basically in the heart of chillen land -- LOL -- anyway -- I looked down and saw this print of Notre Dame I am going to sell on EBay and thought it would make an interesting chillen pic for today :)

Day #328 Chillen and Not Meat

Our family has been really working to get life under control in finances - So as part of that we have started to plan supper meals out for two weeks and buy for them - It has been a real $ saver - this week we included a no meat taco night - My wife researched how to do this - we bought Tofu and all the fixings for taco's - She made it up and I have to say it was good - the texture was more like a bean burrito but the flavor was good and it was much less expensive and better for us! OH and even my picky 11yr ate them so WINNER! 

PS the food is not near my feet --- for my friend JV LOL

 

Day 327 - chillen with Birthday Feet

Today is my babies girl's birthday - she turned 11 - well tonight after dinner out at the Chinese buffet and then Cold Stone Ice Cream we came home to chill and watch a goofy comedian -- but first we changed in to our comfy pants and started chillen - 

Day 326 - chillen and Tiny Wine

Tonight I got home again around 8:30 pm and we bought a pre-made salad from a local store that we love and we bought two of those small bottle of wine to go with it - I got a Mashito it was a nice semi-sweet wine. These little bottles are about one glass full and cost $1 - so they are good but not really for a wine lovers - but good enough for me :)

Day 325 - Chillen and New Afghan

Today I left home at 930am and we just pulled in at 8:40 pm - yep a long day but you know when your alive and not dealing with cancer a long day is an AWESOME day - and that is what this chillen blog has been all about remembering to take time to enjoy the simple things in life - Tonight I am chillen with my wife's newest Afghan - it is not done yet but the colors are very cool and I am not sure if this is a gift or a keeper but either way this is what chillen is about taking time to pause and enjoy the little things around you!

Day 324 - Chillen and tree carving

Today we took a nice long walk to town and there is a tree that some one allowed an artist to carve on the main road in our town - WELL - It may be the person that lives there I dont really know - but it is a really cool carving --- I addd the close up and the phone number if you live in MI and are interested :)

Day 323 - chillen with the Cat in a Hat

Tonight my daughter took a dog hat and thought it was a good idea to put it on my sons cat Kipper - he is, well, the cat that you can do anything with for a few minutes or longer depending on the activity - so I could not pass up the chance to chill with The cat in the Hat.

Day 322 - chillen and tiny hat

Well today's chillen picture is with tiny A's hat - I think it is for a dog but it was token of appreciation from someone - I am not sure what to do with it seeing as we don't have a dog and if I did it would be a lot bigger than this hat would fit -- LOL -- maybe I will give it to my mother-in-law she has a football shaped tiny dog can be seen in one of the early chillen post :)

Day 321 - Chillen and Snoopy

You know there are somethings that are ageless and Snoopy is one of those things ---- Well all the Charlie Brown gang are ageless but Snoopy is the real thing when it come to fun and truly understanding what a full time chillen life is all about - fun, eating, and just living --- can got wrong with that ---

Day 319 - chillen and Charging

Nope no buying going on here -- just saving money in the long run --- I have had a Wii for over a year now and I am afraid to go back and add up all the $ we spent on batteries - so last month we invested in a charging station - the cost was around $35 - so figure that a good brand of batteries say a 12 pack cost $8 and they lasted about 2 months that is $48 a year so in under a year we will have paid for it and then are saving money - There is one other thing - I do not have to change the batteries that is like 2 mins of my life and that is priceless LOL

Day 318 - chillen and Eggs

Weel as I closed up the house tonight I was walking inthe garage and thinking about a good chillen pic - I took a couple today at various times but none of them really captured any fun of chillen - I looked and saw the empty egg shells from the community Easter egg hunt he had at our home and thought about all the fun of watching the kids scramble and pick up 1200 eggs - the best part was there were only about 15 kids LOL they will have candy until next Easter LOL -- we had about 30 people show up and in a day and age of you live your life and I live mine communities I thought it was a good turn out!!! Anyway 1200 egg shells made a good chillen pic tonight :)

Day 317 - chillen and rows

Tonight I sat in church and honestly not paying to much attention (sorry Chris if you read this LOL) - I looked down and realized that I was chillen and did not even know it so I snapped a picture of chillen a-natural - looks like there are a few purses in their hiding spots but yet accessible for the ladies that own them :) -- so the row ahead of me they were being good and paying attention - I think LOL

Day 316 chillen with feet in action

Tonight I got an action shot of a guest feet-- See we do these Wii bowling nights with the in-law and we have a lot of fun - They have these slick wood floors so most the time we bowl in sock feet - tonight I was wearing shoe but my dad-in-law was getting really into and I caught him in ACTION of guiding the Wii bowling ball with an extra flourish of his feet --- I worked ---

day 315 - chillen and Txt Book

WEll tonight i went walking through Goodwill and frond this odd little book that appearntly is a NY Best seller and it is nothing more than one person texting to other people -- I don't know if it is any good but for a $1 I thought why not see if it is any good - or maybe I should say - 4 $1 y nt c if any gd -- LOL

Day 314 - chillen and undeveloped subdivision

Tonight we went for a walk around our sub-division - the middle half is like a wild life sanctuary now with roads for the animals - We spooked up a couple of deer and saw a couple of rabbits -- it is a very odd thing to walk from cloned houses to lots setting with power cables and old lot signs all over grown by  nature - it reminds you of how if given time the planets would with out care erase all signs of humans..  I watched a documentary 500 yrs after humans very awesome to see how quickly and effectively nature fixes the broken world we "created."

Day 313 - Chillen and April Snow!

April rain brings May flowers what does April snow bring?

 Today I got up and was ready to head out to the Gym and when I walked outside there was about 3/4 of inch of snow on the top of the car and some on the lawns across the street -so I grabbed my camera and took time to chill in chilly air :)

Day 312 Chillen and Daughter

Tonight we are sitting around and just chillen watching some Japanese cartoon about an Lizard in the dessert - have to say it is the line Rango - funny in it's own way - but at least me and my daughter got to spend time together... Chillen worth it...

day 311 - Chillen in Wal-mart

Well it has been a long day and at 9pm I do not like the idea of being in Walmart but regardless when you have to have something you have to have it! Of course the things I needed were on the opposite sides of the store -- so along the way I took time to chill new the cell phone stuff - no good reason just need a chill so I did it here- PS Walmart at night is a very busy place with men and women pulling pallets of restocking stuff to shelves and I always thought it was Walmart manic the made the shelves full -- LOL

Day 310 - Chillen & Communion

ell it is Easter Sunday and like many many other people we attended to church - Our church had evening church and we had communion - Our church does not have it every week like some churches do we tend to have it every 6 weeks or so -- Communion is one of those things that you either do because you feel that it is a HOLY thing to do and it will help you get points with God or those that do it because you try to identify the truth about their relationship to God and of course their are those that take out of guilty because they are told it is a good thing... For me I try to do the second one but hate to admit I have fallen in all three categories at times ... While I hope the idea that I try to get an internal reality of spirituality out of it counts when I fall in the other two reasons... :)

Day 309 - chillen and audio book

I om in my car a lot during the week - when you are drive around from client to client like an old time house call doctor use to then you have about 3hr a day - now you can only take so much music, or sports talk radio and I refuse to listen to the left or right extreme talk radio people - So I love to stop by the library and get audio books I have listened biography and fiction - the latest book that I listened to was called 206 Bones by Kathy Reichs -- the author is the one who books were turned into the show Bones - The books are good but she does go way to deep into the forensic science... but it is good still...

Day 308 - Chillen and Man hole -

OK -- don't even go there LOL -- Tonight I was on a walk with my wife and we took a rest and just happened to be next to the man hole cover - It s not often one thinks about man hole covers but it would a be very dangerous world to walk in with out them -- LOL

day 307 - chillen and ugly carpet

Well today was the second day of my training in Lansing - I will not say which hotel but I will say they have less then attractive carpet -- but I took a chillen pic there none the less I mean it was a day of training which is always easier that working LOL - The carpet had a leafy thing going on ut it looked like the painter sat the paint cans down and left rings all over it LOL

Day 306 - Chillen and Hungry Kitty

Well our kids are out of town visiting G-ma so we ahve been parting we have been out until 8:30 every night OMG!!! and tonight we made it until 9pm!!! OMG!!! but the poor kitties in our house were so hungry when we got home they had not eaten in like 4 hours -- FAT FREE LOADERS -- anyway my chillen pic is with one of these lovely kitties- ----

Day 305 - Chillen in Downtown Fenton

Tonight my wife and I went out and got a coffee then took a walk around downtown Fenton MI - it is not what one could call Fenton a big town or exctiting town but it is a town LOL -- it is cute so here is on picture of one of the stores -

Day 304 - Chillen and Bones

Ok this is a chillen pic that is very rare - me chillen with TV show - There is only one show that is on TV that I really like to watch and that is Bones - It is kind of a spy/cop/geek all in one show - Tonight was the newest one and it was ok little far fetched but hey it is a TV show -- LOL

Yes it is TV 14 -- OMG lol  the commercials show more sexual stuff than the show probably why it is TV14 :)

Day 303 - Chillen and Oreo's

Today's chillen picture is with a horrible absolutely bad for processed high fructose Corn syrup sugar bombs called Oreo's. Why would I have such things in my house when I am trying to aviod all such things???? WELL -- THEY ARE AWESOMEEEEEE -- I mean I like them on occasion -- LOL - PS they turn 100 this year and I understand that there is a good reason they are still here in this case double stuffed reasons LOL  - OH and see my Cat loves them too :))))
