Day 107 Chillen Dirty

Well first get your mind out of the gutter -- LOL -- Today I had the day off so it was a three day weekend and I really needed a rest from the Counseling world - I have often said priest and counselors get to hear all the things other people don't want to and you need time to release all that garbage and #@$#$ stuff you hear and try to help with or you will just get worn out!

Today of course was one of the rainiest days we have had in like two months and my wife and the sniffles - but she being a trooper and me wanting to get away got in the car and hit the old country roads - Part of the reason I love to live in MI is that if you want to take a ride you can go down old dirt roads and somewhat get away from people. We found a nice county park to sit at and I found some new public land to try for hunting areas -

I have to say that driving on dirt roads today kinda took me back to my redneck roots and my old beat up pickups and all the mudding and what we call 2-tracking (literally two small tire tracks to drive on through the woods if there were any at all :) - yep county boys and girl rednecks playing country style - LOL! Today we just stayed on old dirt roads but in northern MI you can really get away from people if you drive on the 2-tracks (which has advantages for MARRIED people ;) - yep my wife will hit me for typing that LOL --
